Everybody has heard about dollar cost buying... but what about dollar cost selling? That is just as good! Let`s say you have 100K shares. Of those shares you wish to keep 50K locked up. Then by selling the other 50K over a period of time when the stock is rising you are taking the risk out of the 50K you wish to keep longterm. Just a matter of perspective and the need not to get to greedy.
