I have found a couple of things very curious over the last couple of weeks and have been wondering if PTSC is getting ready to announce a merger or possible buyout of a new co.. (Or if we are gettin ready to market the ignite)I found it interesting that Nick Trendennick, Jim Turley, Richard Belgard, and Gary Hoffman have been appointed to Imsy`s AB. As you all know, Nick is on Intelasy`s AB and Jim is on ours. The other was that McWilliams grouped Intel, Transmeta, and PTSC together the other day when he raised his view on the three. I don`t know that much about Transmeta except to remember reading about ``the secret chip`` that they were working on several years ago and to now know that they are suffering. I also remember that there was quite a bit of talk that their tech would be in direct competition with PTSC and possibly SUNs. Here is an old article about them.

Also, remember that Richard Belgard has made statements about the the PTSC patents--I always wondered where they got him to comment and why. Gary Hoffman may have had something to do with some patents with Transmeta (I have not had time to research this), but here is a clip on him.
