post plus we should not forget that the Fish/MMP was paid for in blood sweat and tears for years by Patriot and many of us. We are not some overnight company that went out yesterday and steal these patents from some unsuspecting intellect who did not have the marketing or financial wherewithal to do something with them. Although ptsc may in the future proceed to invest in outside patents I hope that we do so on an equitable basis.

Patriot tried to make it work but ran out of money (enter Swartz), while the big boys went ahead and utilized the IP without paying a dime (at least not yet for most of them). So calling us a patent troll is in my opinion

inappropriate and perpetuated by a media that is friendly to the big guys.

If the Intel`s and IBM`s and Msft and others have their way and are able to have the courts or Congress put restrictions on patent issuance then we all lose. Most innovation comes from the genius not found in big corporate labs, that are only looking at the quarterly bottom line but in the family garage (Gates, Jobs, Packard are you listening) where ideas are exciting and the bottom line comes later.
