ptscman used a metaphor. Moses on the shores of the Red Sea as a way of expressing his respect for Ron`s opinion. Virtually everyone here respects Ron`s opinion, me included. Ron responded graciously but stated that he in no way should be mentioned in the same breath as Moses. Well heck, we know he`s not Moses. That sounded sort of sanctimonious to me. What I did take issue with is that God chooses only those ``because of their faith and purity of spirit`` when the scripture is full of weak and sinful people whose lives were touched by God and have also been chosen for His purpose. That said, Ron has always been humble in expressing his opinion and my comment was unfair and probably deserving of a more reproachful response than Ron gave.
