"The range of companies we have looked at and will continue to focus on includes some in various areas of technology, early-stage investment, companies with established business operations, and interesting business units that offer opportunity for growth and profitability."
I haven't been spending significant time here recently and none on the discussion board because I am still, most definitely, in a wait and see mode. Hello to everyone and Best Wishes for a great week!
The letter was fantastic. It should have calmed everyone's fears and this should lead to a very slow increase in SP prior to the announcement of an acquisition. The dangers facing our MMP are serious, with future legislation, according to the letter which dramatically increases the need for a great acquisition in a somewhat timely manner. Cliff Flowers should be the point man for detailing this acquisition and everyone on the BOD must feel comfortable with the acquisition. I'm sure they will not be rushed in their determination, but in this time of recession and problems with licquidity, PTSC is in the drivers seat.
I pray that USPTO will soon be behind us. These people make me very nervous and as the super Ben Stein article related, factors other than the efficacy and authenticity of the patent may be under consideration, in this twisted world that fails to understand thel genius that Fish and Moore created.
The honesty and clarity of this shareholder letter should be read and reread by each shareholder as it is evident that significant time was required in its preparation. The fact that we are in great shape and that this message has been conveyed is the best we can expect in this time of NDA's and agreements with TPL.
It should also be noted that PTSC must be finding it very difficult to make the appropriate acquisition that meets their criteria in short order. I sympathize with their situation and wish them the best in making this critical acquisition.
Significant relief! Thanks PTSC.
Peace.
