Well.....now that you brought it up. From the two unfortunate choices, I will vote for the least of the foolish, McCain. Both are a little to left for me, but, voting for a person (Obama) that has promised to raise taxes on income, social security, capital gains and increase taxes on corporations is.....well, not the person I want. Plus, and this is big, he wants to pull out of Iraq. That is a hole story and discussion for another time.
McCain on the other hand is rather an odd fellow. I can't quite put my finger on it but I will vote for him anyway and wish for the best. I don't know if I am voting for him or his wife as I think she is hotter than a stolen pistol.
Oh' that word hope. Isn't that the word I see on Obama bumper stickers? Now, as anyone knows "hope is not a strategy", so I am perplexed as to why anybody would use that term. Reminds me of know one steering the ship and "hoping" everything will work out.
I have to laugh, this is it? The best and greatest country in the world and this is what we have to choose from? It's schocking.
I have traveled to some of the countries in the Arab world and trust me when I tell you that it is like going to planet Claire (B52's). They are not our friends and in general they hate you and me and would slice your familes throat if given a chance.
In conclusion, voting for a guy that has been to war is the only logical choice since that is the biggest threat to our country, period. Sorry for going on.
