I live in a house that has cedar shingles on the outside. We thought it would look nice, a cottage look. Well the damn things need to be oiled every two to three years and oil is $30.00 a gallon. So far I have gone through 28 gallons with another 15 to go. Up and down the ladder and in some cases two stories where my demise could come at any second. This task has been ongoing for almost two months and nothing bad has happened (no injuries). Cottage look my ass.
Sunday I was sweeping the alley because the lazy neighbor won't.
One push of the broom and a pain beyond belief. My back........holy moley! I have been layed out on the floor for days where even a 35 year old skinny model couldn't get me up, if I knew a 35 year old skinny model.
So I am up two stories on a ladder oiling............nothing.
Push a broom......down. Life cracks me up
