When I was young , in the fifties, I can remember being at my grandmothers house. She didn't have a dryer so her clothes would hang on a line. One article of clothing always seemed to stick in my mind all these years was what looked like mens boxers but longer and made of a shiny material, like a silk or nylon.
They were huge as she was not a trim woman and bellowed in the wind much like a spinaker on a sailboat.
Fast forward fifity some years and what do see? Grown men wearing big shiney shorts past their knees in public. It appears that these people cannot be embarrassed as the "feminization" of America continues.
