I'm not sure if I quite have the difference between neos and traditional conservates down. I'll agree with you 100% that spending had gotten way out of control when we had a Republican held Congress and Bush was rubber stamping everything. Without cutting into the Military, I would be perfectly happy with cutting the federal budget in half, just for starters. But I got to tell you, as bad as the Republicans spent, the Democrats will be worse, I guarantee it.

I'm a conservative and always have been. I don't think I fit into that neo category. I joined the Republican party, not because I think it can do no wrong, and everything it says is correct. In fact I have quite a few issues with the Republican party. But I joined the Republican party primarily because I think it is the only way to counter liberalism. Liberals have hijacked the Democratic party. And I personally feel that liberalism will be the death of this country.

Unfortanetely, I have a house payment. But outside of that, I have no debt either, period.
