Borredo,
I actually agree with this article for the most part. The problem isn't conservative values, it's people that claim to be conservatives that don't live up to those values, (like Bush and our Congress when it was ran by the GOP). McCain and others have railed against this out of control spending from day one of the Bush administration, and he's right to a large degree. (Don't forget the recent graphs we saw where it clearly shows the social programs in the federal budget that have to be funded mandetorily and that only grow and grow and grow. Thank the Democrats for that).
So again, we come back to values. The answer isn't to throw the baby out with the bath water. The answer is to truly get back to our conservative roots and walk the walk. Cut back on spending, reduce the size of government, keep the government out of the average Americans life as much as possible, and reduce taxes across the board whenever possible. You follow those values and you will see a smaller, more efficient, more fiscally responsible, and less in our business government. And that is a good thing!
Obama and the liberals are absolutely not the answer. In fact they are exactly what this country doesn't need. Stand by the values, not the people. Stick with people who have integrity with their values and good things will come.
