I was not aware that you could flag someone for an "offensive" posting. I thought that there were certain specific rules that needed to be followed by all. Violations of these said specifics rules may warrant a flag. Beyond that, I'm not sure when the "thought police" gained power to flag others messages that they felt were "offensive".
I specifically post most of my messages and/or jokes on the O.T. forum as it allows me the most flexibility to voice my thoughts/opinions within the framework of the rules. As long as I'm not violated the specifc spelled out rules I am not in violation of anything. The first time a board monitor or anyone else goes outside of the rules and flags me because they felt I had had posted an "offensive" message or something that hurt their feelings; as long as I play within the rules I'm gowing to lay into them hard!
This thing about flagging peoples messages because they are "offended" is crap. Just like our nation, this forum is a forum of rules, ( although they seem to change regularly). Outside of the rules it is not for anyone to flag anothers because they were "offended". End of story.
