You always come across as being fair minded but I think you are showing your liberal leaning tendencies. We need to find out who Sarah Palin is before making such judgements about her. She has made some remarkable changes in Alaska. Shutting down the bridge to nowhere selling the Governers private jet, cutting wastful spending, she has indicated that she will allow drilling in Alaska and support a natural gas pipeline. Her approval rating in Alaska is 80%. Natural gas is a very clean alternative fuel that can be used to power automobiles and generate power while we pursue electric and Hydrogen powered cars for the future. This is a mother raising 5 children she knows what wastful spending is and is exactly the new face in Washington McCain and the country needs. Biden has experience just like McCain but he is the third most liberal senator and Obama is the most liberal senator that scares many Americans more than the nuclear trigger issue. In reality, since the end of the cold war their is much less concern about who has their finger on the trigger of nuclear weapons in this country. Thanks to the leadership of Ronald Reagon and the build up of our military might their is no country in the world that can challenge the USA and will think twice about trying to overtake another nation with the USA as a deterent. Countries like Canada with very little military power have received over the decades the benefits of security from the military power of the USA funded by the taxpayers of this great nation and taken for granted by many people in these other weak nations who ultimately rely on the USA for their security in the world. Security through strength. All that could be undermined under the liberal presidency of Obama and Biden. McCain and Sarah are what the country needs to cut wasteful spending and change Washington. McCain is truly a maverick and has an excellent record of not serving the special interests groups and corporate lobbyists unlike his liberal counterparts and the Bush administration. Sarah also appears to serve the people and the country first. I think McCain and Sarah bring a genuine commttment to serving the people and the country to Washington. They also bring somthing the liberal side can't bring and that is values and common sence.
