There is a lot of football to be played between now and the championship game. Oregon was awsome last year. They beat USC but later in the season they lost their QB Dixon and were never the same team. USC went into Stanford last year as a very heavy favorite and got blown out by Stanford so any team can have a bad game. The team that remains healthy, focused and lucky this year will be playing for the national championship. My monies on USC as one time LSU, Oklahoma and Penn State and Georgia all appear to be good teams that could challenge for number 1.

I'm afraid my Oregon Ducks on the 5th string QB and the Oregon State Beavers playing USC this week are going to have a rough year.
