the thing that she left out is that she is Mama. If she has been a representative for at least the past six years then the problems we have now can be laid in her lap. When McCain and Bush in 2003 and 2005 tried to get a handle on the excess lending was on at Freddie and Fannie, Pelosi and Barney Frank are documented as saying all was fine and "Mama" did not need to put a halt to excessive lending by these institutions. Check out which party and who in the party rec'd the most in political contributions from these folks.
She talks a good game but the problem is that she is part of the democratic majority that has done nothing but put roadblocks in the way of any meaningful reform to the excesses of Wall Street. Now like a good politican she puts the blame on the administration and the govt "Mama" when she is it. If she had said that there was enough blame to go around and she herself did not realize how bad the problem was and that she is part of the problem as is every other elected offical I would have had more respect for her.
Instead she blames everybody but where the blame truly lies the most. What has she been doing while this has been going on? What did she say to Barney Frank when as Chair of the oversight committee he said no problems exisit?
Not only my opinion but the facts as they are.
And I am an American taxpayer
