Wasn't last winter one of the coldest on record? I also read that ocean temperatures are on a cooling trend. I've also heard that sun spot activity on the sun has more affect on global warming than anything man is doing. How do you know that the natural changes that melted the ice cap occurred over thousands of years? Was there scientists alive back then measuring global temperatures like they are today or is this somthing you just made up? When a large meteor hits the earth does it have an immediate affect on global climate or does it take place over thousands of years too? What I've learned about science is that theories are accepted until proven wrong in time. If the earth is warming shouldn't the oceans be rising with all of the ice melting? Last time I checked the ocean beaches are still there just like they were when I was a little kid.

The environmentalists have shut down all the mill towns out here in the Pacific Northwest. We used to produce a great deal more lumber for our country and the world. There is more timber growing in the forests here today than when the white man stepped on the north American continent. Now we purchase lumber from other countries that don't manage their forests. The Amazon jungle is disappearing so people can raise crops to produce green energy. I produce enough oxygen on my Christmas tree farm for 2340 people to breathe for a year.

I am very concerned about the degredation of morality by the left and the type of world society we will be leaving to them. I live in a community where their are quite a few menonites. They help each other and have retained a sence of community around religious beliefs and morality. They make great neighbors because they don't steal, they help everyone and their great people. Every Christams about 150 of them sing carols in our yard in front of our house. Yes we have lost somthing precious in this country and the liberal left like you are largely to blame. It seems each generation is a little worse then the previous generation. Why is it the menonites keep producing wonderful people that are kind, trusting, good neighbors, happy and responsible generation after generation. What do they do that sets them apart from our society? What would this world be like if everyone lived to their moral standards based on Christian faith. If your so worried about the type of world we pass on to our children then you may want to find religion in your life and move a little closer to the right and try to live and promote the charecteristics of the faithful.
