The way the drive-by-media has covered this presidential election has been a disgrace. It has pandered to Obama and has shown scorn for McCain. Instead of having debates on ALL issues of concern to the American public, the DBM has selectively cherry picked Obama topics, leaving off any that might cause one to think about who the man really is. They have successfully kept the mask on him so as to not show his true face. They have offered very little coverage of McCain and what coverage there is has been negative. I believe this election will go down in history as the one that has led America down a dark road of media driven elections, sponsored by rich, wacky idealist on both sides of the spectrum. Four years from now, it may be that the media has decided to have a republican or an independant as president. Once they decide and cover only their candidate in their positive light, who will be there to defend the opposite side. The cartoonist will be the only ones with a free hand to express their views. We are heading down a slippery slope in news coverage and entertainment. I used to enjoy the late night shows but don't watch anymore. That gap-toothed imbicile Letterman has choosen himself as a political analyst. Only problem is that he continues to sway the public with his liberal views. Of course years ago that would not have been tolerated by the networks, but today the networks are run by left leaners. Pretty soon we will be having sports teams that favor candidates. " The Super Bowl Champs favor Joe Blow in this election sports fans". Sounds far fetched but maybe not.....
