I don't know how old you are, but your writing tells me your an intelligent person.
I have been in business for myself going on 32 years soon. My business gives me the ability to speak to many people from every walk of life. From the most famous sports figures to people at the peak of industry. Not bragging, just a fact. I have been blessed in that regard. The majority do not like the way things are going in this election. Maybe because their wealth is about to be redistributed (LOL).
But I digress. My point is that many of my customers are professional people from Canada. They love their country the same as we love ours. When we talk about issues of the day, the things they all seem to rail about are the exchange of currency when they come here (LOL) and their health care system. When I question them about health care, because no one can control currency, (it has improved over the last several years) they seem to say, without saying it, that the nationalism of certain things like healthcare, lead to poor quality of service. Many doctors come here for extended vacations because (years ago, don't know about now) they could only earn so much money. After they reached that limit, it was off to Fl. Canadian's seemed to feel that it hurt the health care system in Canada by having less Dr.'s available to do office visits and testing. I've, heard stories about taking months to get an MRI for example. You could die in that timeframe.
But, my question to you is this. In your view, how far has Canada gone down the path of socialism, if at all, and how do you see our system vs yours? Just use healthcare as the topic.
TIA
