Why is our government so interested in starting another government program like healthcare when they have three major programs in place that are projected to be bankrupt in our lifetime.
Medicare
Medcaid
Social Security
The trillion dollar amount of the health program over ten years is not the problem. What will this government program cost " forever" after the first ten years. Who will pay for it then? The majority of baby boomers will have either passed away or will be well past their productive years. Maybe abortion should have been more of an issue all these years if a stream of future tax payers was of utmost importance.
By the way, how are Americans 401-k's and IRA's doing since mid 2007.
