I never said he was the sharpest tool in the shed either, but this guy Krugman seems to keep stepping on his tongue. He agrees w/ Obama just for the sake of agreeing regardless of what the poll numbers show.
I don't think anyone who is over the age of thirty would disagree that the healthcare system needs to be reformed, but a task so large and so vital to the citizens of this country can't be rushed through in 60 days. Why can't a bipartisan committee be formed to look at the best and worst of the current system and mold a new system from it. One that considers all legal residents of this country. If illegals are the burden to our current system, as most seem to suggest, they would leave this country in droves if they could no longer get free healthcare. That would seem to solve two problems with one solution.
We also need to have tort reform and malpractice caps, along with better data collection for patients, so that every time you walk into a doctors office, other than your primary doctor, you don't have to sit there and fill out those damn forms. They should be available to all Dr's and hospitals via computer. Sound familiar!!
