U.S. Chamber of Commerce

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with 3 million members, is running ads against a government-run insurance option. It is working with local and regional affiliates on letter-writing campaigns to lawmakers and plans to track their public appearances. Thomas Donohue, the chamber's president, says the health care reform bill will not reduce costs or increase access to health care.
