Medicare costs are not paid for they are going to the national debt for our children and grandchildren to pay.

I don't think any of us here disagree that some reform of health care is needed. What we don't agree on is that the government needs to take over the health care system. Perhaps the government should address the issues that drive health care up. One of those issues is lawsuits. Why can't the government cap the amount that one can sue for?

Currently the uninsured mainly go to the emergency room at the hospital. Perhaps the hospitals could screen patients and send non emergency patients to a seperate ward to keep costs down.
