I read that the complaints about the Canadia and British systems mostly revolve around attempting to make the systems more efficient. The British conservatives are even trying to claim that they fully support NHS! But both counties could spend 2% more of their GDP on health care and it would still be far less than what the US pays.

As I've said before the Canadian system more closely resembles Medicare. Its clear that, aside from opposing Obama the GOP plan is to get rid of Medicare. Always has been.

I've been to PTSC shareholder meetings, and I know that most of us are old white guys. (I prefer middle aged). I wonder have many of you GOPers would give up your Medicare because that's your party's platform.
