Incorrect; it has, for all practical purposes, been a democrat seat because the person who held the seat was a RINO ----- she deserved to be ousted, as evidenced by her spineless maneuver last week. Thus the district has been held by a democrat, effictively, and is left leaning. For a staunch and real conservative to almost win there is in many ways a victory and is certainly a sign of things changing ... for the good.
