What do you say about a healthcare system that treats foreigners rich enough to take advantage of it yet denies those same services to millions of its own citizens who aren't rich enough? I'd say that's disgusting.
Anyone who is denied at a medical clinic because they don't have helth insurance gets medical treatment at our emergency rooms in the hospitals that is another reason why our costs are so high but no one not even illegal imigrants are turned away from there. You may have seen shows where poor kids from other countries are even given life saving operations by doctors and nurses and hospitals volunteering their time and equipment in this country.
Do the millions of people here that can't afford health insurance have the same opportunity that the rich person had in getting it? How did the rich person get rich? Did they work for it?
What I find disgusting is that you believe that those poor people that could afford to buy cigarettes, marijuana, LSD, cocaine, alcohol, guns, cheesburgers and french fries and dhave sex without protection. Don't excersise, eat right and take care of themselves to the point that now they are in poor health and can't afford health insurance have a right for me to pay for their health care as well as mine because its their right as a citizen of this country and it's the right thing to do? Well excuse me but these same people had the same opportunities as I did to take care of themselves. When they cry poor me they only have to point the finger at themselves.
