I think it's a referendum for change. The independants have spoken. If Republicans think this is a vote of confidence it couldn't be further from the truth. Brown was very careful not to bring the word Republican in his campaign. I think America is sick and tired of the Status Quo. We ousted the Republicans and now the Democrats being in control are in our sights.

Agreed, people are sick of the irresponsible spending and games by both parties. Voters will vote for a conservative no matter what party they are in.

As far as Afghanistan is concerned, I agree we should probably pull out. I would like to see them pull out the main military and utilize special forces to monitor the terrorist organizations and use our air power/technology to hit training facilities and perhaps even Irans nuclear projects.
