The tax cuts for the rich were not paid for, by the GOP, resulting in deficits
The Bush administration had to deal with the worst attack of the century on U.S. soil by foreigners and the worst natural disaster in U. S. history. Both resulted in beefing up government agencies for homeland security and for disaster relief. You seem to ignore these facts. But they did spend too much as well.
Two wrongs don't make a right and electing the most liberal president in U.S. history is proving a huge mistake so far as the deficit balloons out of control. Some koolaid drinkers and America haters and lazy leaches still support this president. I suppose if you work for the government and you received a nice raise during this recession you probably support the big spender as well.
I might support a higher tax on products that U.S. companies manufacture abroad. That is if a product is manufactured in the USA those companies pay a lower tax. For products like Nike which manufacture much of their shoes abroad they would have to pay a higher tax to sell the products here.
