Yes it is dirty......but there is more. Mositure is the issue. When oil and wet get together in an engine it causes that whiteish goo. The internals of the engine whipping around, like a washing machine will do this.
Worst case is a head gasket or becasue of the crap gasoline we are forced to use there is moisture in the mix. It can work its way past the rings on the pistons and get into the oil causing the goo.
Have the oil changed. Inspect the oil to if it is loaded with goo. If its not and there is just a little then I think you are O.K
I change mine every 3K or if the car is not driven much every two years. Do not go on the cheap when it comes to oil.
