Again, you keep on saying this too, all evidence to the contrary. Why do you keep on ignoring the truth? Bush took his eyes off the 9/11 mastermind bin Laden and went swanning into Iraq, a war which was both illegal and more costly in American lives than the 9/11 attacks were, not to mention coalition casualties and the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians. The UK, second largest coalition partner, is holding an inquiry into what led up to the Iraq war, euphemistically described as "lessons to be learned" which anyone with any intelligence knows really means "who the f*** dragged us into that mess and with what lies?"; will the US have the stomach to do the same one day.
The WMD intelligence that led to the Iraq war was not accurate. With the cuts made during the Clinton administration in the CIA, FBI and the military perhaps our intelligence would have been good enough to prevent 911 and the Iraq war. But we'll never know this now. Liberals love to create problems and then point the finger. If we use your logic Bush was only into his term by 8 months when 911 happened. He could have blamed Clinton for the failures in intelligence to stop the attack just as Obama still blames Bush for the economy. Bush to his credit stuck to his word unlike the president we have now. How many Iraqi citizens lives were saved because we took down Sadaam? These people now have a possible future that didn't exist under Sadaam. You conveniently ignore this.
