Why is it you don't understand that we are not against health care reform? We are for passing responsible legislation that has an actual shot at working. Tort reform, opening up insurance accross state lines so there is competition to drive insurance costs down. Pass laws that no insurance company can deny coverage. Start with these changes and see where it goes. What we don't want to see is another bloated beurocracy that has to rasie costs every year because it wastes money and is full of corruption. Wasting money and corruption is what our government does well. The government needs to demonstrate that it can efficiently run anything and cut spending before i would ever consider a government run health care system.

Many young people are strapped for cash because they have college debt or are just trying to get on their feet financially. Raising kids, buying homes etc. They are healthy enough that it is cheaper for them to bank on their good health and not pay for health insurance.

People that are here illegally should receive health care but the bill should come off our debt to the country the people came from or be traded for oil or other goods we can use. This could be changed by our government.

Drug addicts, alcoholics and smokers. I have a problem with people that can afford these addictions but can't purchase their own helath care. I don't think I should have to pay for their health insurance and mine.

I think that many families are playing by the rules but are on the edge of dropping into the uninsured category. If the government forces them to pay for someone elses health insurance also it could make them fall into the same category.
