GTO, I and I know many others agree with you that if optik can quote a date and an amount of well over 869,000 Iraqui's killed by American troops then he/she owes it to his readers to add the source of the information.

It would be my guess that if that number is anywhere close to being accurate it would include Iraqui's murdered by their own government (tens of thousands of kurds and Shia killed by Saddam), before and after the war as well as the thousands of Iraqui's killed by the suicide bombers assisted by their friends in Iran.
