If not for taxes how would we pay for a strong military? If not for taxes how would we keep our infrastructure in decent shape? If not for taxes how would we pay to school our children? To name just a few vital services that our taxes provide, I could create a huge list. Do you want me to?

Why do you liberals always assume that us consevatives want all taxes eliminated? Good grief of course we need taxes for vital services but there is a lot of waste, fraud and corruption in government that can be trimmed. Reagan had the right idea deregulate, cut taxes and shrink government. The result was the economy boomed and more tax money came in because more people had jobs and could pay taxes and buy things. Let the free market system work. Government needs to take the shackles off and let the people fix the country.
