If we who have such divergent ideas can have a discussion about taxation, government intrusion on our private lives etc and attempt to find a fair system to work our government within our FANTASTIC (imo) Constitution then why not try to get others to participate in this discussion here and maybe just maybe we can start that grass roots movement that will accomplish what those folks in DC cannot.

DC reminds me of the old saying about if one owns a boat..... it's just a hole in the water to throw your money into.....

Sure DC would be happy if all we did was talk and discuss the problem here but like the tea party citizens, (you know the regular folks both Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, and Conservatives who are unhappy with the direction of our government. Sure there are some kooks in that group but when I have been around them the kooks can be counted on two hands out of hundreds and hundreds of angry Americans. The tea party orgs have been grass roots, true community organizations organized by communities themselves.

Lets invite others to join the discussion, keep it civil, use facts if possible and see where it takes us?

I'd be interested in hearing what you all have to say. And yes lets hear from our Canadians friends as well they have always commented on the USA before now let us invite them not to criticize us but to add to the discussion.
