What our progressive friends on this OT site say about this response but Obama killing Nasa and it's ability to send manned missions into space or even orbit to make it a "Climate Change" agency has got to be one of the dumbest things he has done since taking office. I know this started with Bush and it was dumb then but Obama is suppose to be the smart one and he has a Congress behind him.

The ironic part is that over 20,000 tech high paying jobs will be lost with the closing of the shuttle program. This should be right up there with his goals for Govt run health care, cap and trade and amnesty as something the American people should be worried about. The only problem is that there are very few articles or programs on this situation and what it actually means to the security of our country, the tech leadership of our country and the ideals that space instills in the minds of our young people especially the nerds (like Jobs, and Gates) who are going to make the future. Govt does not create jobs however like defense there are somethings that govt must take the lead on because of cost and risk. In these times of economic uncertainty we need NASA and the Space Shuttle.

I really truly pray that God instills in Obama the light of reason and he sees that changing his decision on this shut down could be the start of his climb out of the hole of a mess he has made in just a bit more then a year in office.
