Government programs are ALWAYS a disaster.

My dad died in 1970, shortly after Lydon Johnson gave us Medicare with all its promises. He was diagnosed in January with cancer and died in August. His surgery and all medications and treatments were paid for by the program. My mother received a bill at the end totalling $19.00. Little by little, new rules, regulations and guidelines were introduced.

Look at the MESS it has become. Obviously, the government could never have continued the program the way it started.
