First, "bashing" has an effect on an easily manipulated stock's share price. Go try and bash UTX or C and see what happens. Not a thing.

Note that the stocks in your example were thinly traded pennies/pinks/OTCs.

Second, the what people call "bashing" here is not bashing. If someone questions the BoD, that is not bashing. Intentionally stating false earnings numbers or false news is bashing.
