My point from your original post was your take on the Declaration of Independence. It doesn't say anything about funding anything, yet you used it to make a case that we shouldn't be funding education, tax our citizens, etc.

What is your point about a Republic vs. a Democracy? What does that have anything to do with the Declaration of Independence and your inaccurate portrayal of it?

By the way, nobody is threatening to take your or anyone's guns away. That is bogus, fear-mongering by the NRA and the right-wing.
