The predefined scan results on the stockcharts.com site gave me a batch of tickers that I narrowed down from there. Someday when I have some time I'd like to formulate my own criteria for a screening method. Buys and sells are mainly based on charting but I will do a scratch the surface background check on possible choices. A recent high volume scan resulted in BCON (bought at .26) which is expected to announce a comencement in power plant operations any time now. Recent financing has put preferred stock/warrants in play (@.25). Just waiting for the news. Still keeping tabs on ACTC and looking for a re-entry around .15.

My initial observation that causes me to throw out a stock almost immediatly is the volume (the ability to enter and exit) which is what I saw with HDVY.
