While you're thinking about that (and no doubtedly going to reply that I wouldn't post a mistake from Breitbart in order to maintain their credibility) you can't have it both ways.

ABC clearly and with forethought searched the Tea Party websites to hopefully link a name to turn this tragedy into a political point for Soetoro. That's a FACT. Then they reported it without any sort of verification or 'vetting', but they knew that and the insinuation / association was accomplished. We've seen this script before in Sanford, Tuscon and Austin. Their 'retraction' and 'apology' was hardly that.... they then went on in their second 'apology' to blame 'social media' (i.e. twitter) for calling them out on their bias.

After Breitbart saw ABC News (Brian Ross) made the comment, they found the terrorist's name that matched on the registered Democrat voters list in Colorado, and reported a possible match. When they discovered that it was NOT the same person, the correction was issued in 10 minutes.... not the HOURS that ABC News took to reach a (twice) half- ed apology. (And I guess that twice a half makes them a full , by simple math.)

So no, I wasn't going to associate the terrorist with any party and turn this into some political discussion. At least not while the families are still mouring. That time may come after the investigations are complete and the FACTS come out. This degenerate is a loner not representing any political movement (so far as we know) and ABC's pre-emptive and prejudicial association of the name to a Tea Party member with a similiar name without any further research was simply inexcusable and irresponsible reporting. I'm sure Spike Lee learned a similiar lesson at a price... I hope ABC News does too.

Breitbart showed what should be done if this was an honest mistake...... which is being extremely diplomatic to assume what ABC did was just a mistake.

Keep trying. The honest right wing media and bloggers are calling the Dishonest Liberal Media (and their useful idiot repeaters) out on their propaganda. They don't have reporters anymore, just repeaters. Journalism in the DLM is long since dead.
