Radio Free Europe, broadcast that America would HELP Hungarians who would rise up, against Russian dominance over their Country, Needles to say they were only pulling a STING/ploy to unmask those who were ready to confront the Communists..

It worked and the Russian tanks rolled into Budapest and squelched any attempt to throw off the Communist YOKE/Strangle hold , on their Country..
