PDL more of a platinum play than people realize!

Re PDL, check out this 2002 news release. "Gold Fields and Outokumpu announce increased total resources of 14.4 million ounces in Arctic Platinum Partnership." The Finnish company, Outokumpu Oyj, dropped out in 2003, I believe. Gold Fields took over 100 percent, did some more work on its own.
PDL showed up as the new partner on the deal in 2006. PDL is earning a 50 percent ownership, with the possibility of 60 percent ownership.
I did not previously know that PDL had access to so much platinum. I do not think the size of this holding is apparent from looking at either the PDL web site or the GFI website.
