I was wondering the same about the political situation in NG, time will tell.
I have been looking to accumulate some more at these prices as I think that the company is moving in the right direction.
Losing the contracted equipment was a blow and it did bring operations down to a halt for some time. I think they said it was 2 weeks of reduced operations until they found enough equipment.
I did not know about the leaching pad problems, but it just makes sense, and of course they are in the wet part of the season now until November i believe. A few decades ago I was in the Borneo around this time, and jeez it was miserable. I can imagine they are part of the same weather patterns, so you have to expect some kind of rain problems.
With the new high grade at surface finds that are being put into production almost right away, that could only help the production numbers, which we could see by Q1.
news like that can push the price up 5-10 cents just like that.
