My top speculative pick this year: Northern Tiger. NTR.V Why? They've got the gold, and will prove up on it this year. They've also got proximity to infrastructure and transportation, something which most of the juniors do not. They also have a history of operating in the Yukon, and expertise they can leverage from Capstone.
BTW, was Capstone on your list? Was North American Tungsten? Four majors I didn't see on your list with properties in the Yukon are Agnico-Eagle, Hudbay, Teck Cominco, and Xstrata. Not juniors, but it pays to watch what they are doing.
I have 118 companies on my list, and I'm sure that's not complete.
My second: Taku. TAK.V Why? geologist has been in the Yukon 20 years, knows what he is doing. Good property, good grab samples, also in an area that can be explored earlier in the year, and closer to the Klondike Highway tnan many others.
I've held onto positions in KAM, as I expect them to appreciate up to 200% this year, and ATC for siimilar reasons, although I only expect them to appreciate between 30-100%. They have the goods, but their price is already high.
I have my foot in in Acero Martin, because I think the deposit will end up just like the Victoria Gold one. I have my toe in in Radius and Pacific Ridge. Both with very experienced geologists, and Pacific Ridge has been in the Yukon at least a decade.
