I am new to Nordic and not that knowledgable about oil so bear with me --

there were 34 oil seepage locationsIn Petro Dinds view many, if not all of the high-grade oil anomalies, especially those that are coincident with major oil seeps, warrant further exploration by drilling.

Now what are surface expressions of oil reservoirs associated with collapse structures

The surface anomalies suggest both stratiographic and structural oil traps.  Many of the large anomalies are in a linear pattern suggesting fault control.  It is well known that the dissolution of salt beds in the Devonian can cause collapse and entrapment of oil in the Devonian and overlying Formations given the right conditions,

 Is this good or bad.

The Upper Manneville formation is the most likely prospect

Is some of this sand like the Alta Tar sands.

Light oil seems a good thing.

Under section 34

Also found were anomalous values of methane and ethane suggesting the existence of a thermogenic gas reservoir at depth.

The soil gass survey surrounding the twinned wells shows the southern limit of a strong ethsne plus anomaly which could extenda considerable distance along a fairway to join others in Township 40.

What is the significance of this.  It sounds good to me.  Does this mean the reservoir is where the twinned wells are.  Does this mean they will have an increased life.  What is the significance of this discovery.

I guess the market said that if it is not drilled and done now there is no real interest.  TSX down and venture down on news of US recession.

Thanks in advance for anyones patience in answering these questions.
