We all know that an exceptional news release can drive this stock up quickly. Now all we have to look at is the general market conditions and how an exceptional news report would affect the NOT price. It is my opinion that having an exceptional news release now may in fact be counterproductive to what we want out of it. Lets say we get an amazing news report and a real dumper of a day on the market, with the weakness primarily in the commodities, metals section. What then should we expect? I'm thinking the same as we have seen over the last couple of reports. Nothing much.
Now move the clock to 2008 and release the same news report with exceptional assays and what should we get? Depending on the market conditions no less than a bump up and if it is released during an upswing in the overall market a solid gap up or climb up over a couple of days.
So...what do we want...the news now when the market sucks and tax loss season is at its heaviest for selling...or 2008 when all of the wounds start to heal and we can look at the next winter/spring bull run....I know what I'm thinking is the best timing. Richard has all the excuses right now to hold back the results until 2008. My guess is he's doing just that...no he has to release them but I'm sure he has ways of stalling a couple of days (thats all he'll need with all the statutory holidays and company holiday closing periods). Let RN do the thinking..we'll just collect when the right moves have been made and everyone is comfortable with RN and his "plan".
