From the Eagle Two Has Landed news release and the visual discriptions of the first four holes to the actual results we have the following:
Hole NOT-08-1G2 -- A mineralized deformation zone was encountered over a length of 29 meters between 39 and 68 meters downhole, comprising a 3 meter section of massive sulphide-magnetite breccia and units of sulphide breccia with widths ranging from a few centimeters to a maximum of 1 meter in length throughout the entire zone.
From this we get
From 39-43 meters, .21 Cu/ 1.44 Ni/ .37 Pd
From 43-68 meters, .07 Cu/.55 Ni/.02 Pt/.22 Pd
Hole NOT-08-1G3 -- The deformation zone was encountered between 43.3 and 46.7 meters (3.4 meters of core length) containing massive pyrrhotite-magnetite with chalcopyrite.
From this we get
From 42.3-47.9 (5.6 meters), .21 Cu/2.24 Ni/.02 Pt/1.38 Pd
Hole NOT-08-1G6 -- the hole entered strongly altered peridotite until encountering a deformation zone between 113.2 and 131 meters (17.8 meters of core length). Similar mineralization as in holes 1G2 and 1G3 was encountered, composed of sulphide breccia over intervals of a few centimeters up to 0.8 meters
From this we get
From 114.7-123.8 (9.1 meters), .06 Cu/.69 Ni/ .05 Pt/.28 Pd
Large crystals of pentlandite up to a few millimeters in size are evident in the most recent drill hole (NOT-08-1G8) -- encountered massive sulphide mineralization between 123 and 130 meters downhole (7 meters of core length)
From this we get
124-129.5 (5.5 meters), .33 Cu/ 1.98 Ni/ .01 Pt/ .45 Pd
Question is now.....what were people expecting?
