Decoupling Theory

Some time back when BMK produced core results that were perceived as less than dazzling, it was stated that they had decoupled from riding NOT's coattails, following an sp dive, and they and others would now have to survive on their own successes. It would appear that a re-coupling has taken place and the JB companies are experiencing an sp % reunion of sorts. BMK hasn't had anything to say particularly and is not likely to for some time, though it seems to be experiencing some upward movement along with NOT, FWR and others. The area play appears to be alive and well and I believe the market memory of what these stocks did before may be replaying as incentive. We also need to recognize that many stocks have gone up and down between 10 - 20 percent, some a number of times since end of December and now. Corrections, oversold status, a change in market sentiment? Is this what is driving the JB company sp's? Could that be all that it is? I know a number of you will say no, it has to be bigger than that. We are waiting on too many results for there to be nothing right? Could the increase in volume just be a snowball affect from a bit of blog hype and software indicators pointing to NOT momentum? Is the game greased? There are still a lot of questions without many answers, but they will come sure enough. I hope we'll like them. In addition, I'll go out on a limb here and predict there will be no N.R.s this week. By the way, either way I win. :)
