I would suggest that Joanne Jobin is just doing her job. However, I think it is an admission of the power of the retail investor, and investor activism.
Ms. Jobin is tough. She's an 'alpha' female, and I say this in the most positive way. She understands that she will have a bigger pay day if Noront succeeds in seducing a big major to come into its bed. (Sorry about the tasteless metaphor.)
I, for one, would love to get to Toronto for the luncheon. However, unless NOT's share price skyrockets this week, my bank account will continue to look like Mother Hubbard's cupboard.
