I'm wondering if we would have moved forward with the E1 drilling sooner had a jv with PRB been signed sooner?
This is looking very very good for PRB with the claim blocks around E1. It would not surprise me if both plays have a good idea of the trend etc..... and the jv with PRB erases the boundary issue discussed on forum before.
An update for some. There is an easement between plays at the boundary. The easement is several meters on each side of the line. This could add up to a lot of untouched resource and expense so the jv erases boundary issues allowing both plays to take advantage of all of the resource.
There is no longer a boundary issue with PRB. I have a feeling that we should all be prepared, not for the next NR from NOT but from the possible strike on the PRB jv land.
After all. What is left for the second NR except perhaps a vision and corporate issues? There is just so much in this NR as it is....
