as everybody assumed ,knowing that Noront did not have the resources to win the battle with another bidder coming on to the scene , that the BOD was working on the bid with a strong backing if not from a Major at least from institutional entities .

It turn out that they were working this alone from the podium that themselves erected .

The PRs achieved something of significance ,as you quite rightly say, but the wasted occasion to improve the SP is there , considering the fact that the takeover was a very, very long shot.

Of course we will come out stronger from this experience but at what a cost.
