This is from the Ottawa Citizen's report on the upcoming Throne speech:

McGuinty is also looking to the North as the key to new revenue for provincial coffers.

The premier, who has been accused of ignoring some of the concerns of northern Ontario, is now touting mineral deposits in the province's northwest as a massive potential economic windfall.

That area may contain the largest chromite deposit in the world. Chromite is a key ingredient in stainless steel. There is no substitute and no other North American producer.

"The world is hungry for stainless steel," he said. "This is the most promising mining opportunity in Canada in a century,"
